Department of Radiotherapy & Oncology in KMC Hospital Attavar was the first centre in Mangalore and has been operational since 1996 in treating patients. Since then thousands of patients have taken treatment here. We take great pride in our patient counselling methods evidence-based approach to each case. The department is currently having the highest number of inpatients and outpatients in any Cancer Institute across the town.

Area of Study

Radiotherapy & Oncology deals with the non-surgical management of cancer patients including radical palliative Radiotherapy/Chemotherapy. Radiotherapy is delivered using ELEK TA’s Modern Linear Accelerator using 3DCRT technique. The department also has Cesium -137 bared LOR Brachytherapy. All types of high-end chemotherapies are also given.
