Chief Guest at Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College

Dr.Anuja Sreedharan, Associate Professor, Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, was invited as the Chief Guest to address the students and the faculty on the new Labour Codes, organised by the Student Welfare Committee of Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College at Bengaluru on 17th December 2025. The talk was attended by students from all batches.

This talk was conceived in the wake of the transformation in the Indian labour setting from a fragmented legislative framework to a consolidated, policy-driven statutory framework, which came into effect on November 21, 2025. The talk enlightened the students on four new Labour Codes: The Wages Code, 2019, the Code on Industrial Relations, 2020, the Code on Social Security, 2020, and the Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
