Overview
Masters of Respiratory Therapy in India was first started in 2006, under the auspices of the Department of Respiratory Therapy (MCOAHS, now Manipal College of Health Professions) under the care and supervision of Department of Anesthesiology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), a Deemed University at Manipal, Karnataka, India. MCHP initiated this Master 's degree programme with a coursework of two years, during which the candidate will conduct a research project and will be involved in patient care activities. The masters course is now provided by the Department of Respiratory Therapy, an independent department in the Manipal College of Health Professions.
