CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Nafeez Syed is involved in infrastructural and academic planning for the MPT programme at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.

    He:

    • Is indulged in interacting with the Corporate Team in allocating the space and other support facilities to run the program.
    • Acts a liaison between the university administrations to that based at Bangalore to keep the MPT programme on wheels.
    • Executes day to day functionality in the areas of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation with the guidance of the respective consultants.
    • Is instrumental in convincing the consultants to bring in new protocols of rehabilitation in Multidisciplinary Units, Cardiac and Respiratory Intensive Care Units at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.
    • Is involved in sharing his services at the neurological rehabilitation unit as well and in clinical training of the PG students who are specialising in cardiopulmonary and neurological sciences.
    • Guides students for their dissertation.
