A two day Introduction to Social Science Research methods was conducted for Double Majors 2^nd year students ON 28 August 2023 and 04 September 2023. Dr. Padmini Ram, director Urban Ethnographers was the resource person for the workshop. The main aim of this workshop was to introduce students to the basics of social science research. The two day workshop covered topics related to introduction to research Design and Ethics Considerations, understanding research design and its purpose, components of Research Design and Bias in Research, Non-experimental Quantitative Designs and Sampling.

Outcome of the Event: Students have been introduced to basics of research methods in social sciences. As an extended part of the workshop the course faculties have planned to give assignments based on the topics they have learnt in the workshop pertaining to their subject.
