Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru took an initiative in organising an orientation program for the Department of Liberal Arts Humanities and Social Sciences (DLHS) regarding French – A Foreign Language for electives on 20 January 2023. The main objective of the orientation program was to make students aware of the academic aspects of learning French.

The Students were addressed by Ms. Flora Launey, Curriculum Director from ‘Alliance Francaise de Bangalore’ who gave deep insights about academic disciplines which includes why to learn French as an European Language, advantages and certifications available in India and many more. Ms. Flora was open to doubts and clarifications and gave us suggestions and plans regarding A1 examination. Thus, it was a useful session as we got to know the importance of learning French.
