Nidhi Modi has been recently appointed as an Assistant Professor at Manipal Law School, Bengaluru where she will be teaching Law and Economics. She holds an LL.B. from Jindal Global Law School and has completed her LL.M. from University of Melbourne as an Alex Chernov Scholar with a focus in Corporate and Banking Law. Prior to joining academia, she has gained practical experience in banking and finance law through her work with law firms such as SNG & Partners and Dentons Link Legal. She has also served as a Research Assistant at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. Her experience includes legal research, regulatory analysis, drafting, and advisory work on a range of commercial and financial matters. Her academic interests include corporate law, banking and finance law, insolvency law, commercial law, and the evolving relationship between law, business, and technology. She is committed to fostering an engaging learning environment that encourages critical thinking, analytical skills, and practical understanding of legal principles. At Manipal Law School, she seeks to integrate academic rigor with contemporary legal developments, helping students build a strong foundation for their future professional and academic pursuits.
