Manipal Centre for Natural Sciences (MCNS) has a dedicated library to aid research in Natural Sciences, situated in the right wing of the Dr. T.M.A Pai Planetarium building at Manipal. The library was opened to researchers in 2013 and is growing at a fast pace.  Its motive is to create a conducive environment for both education and research. It currently offers a wide range of e-resources and services to assist fundamental research in physical and earth sciences. The MCNS library is fully computerized using the EasyLib library management software

The Library has 4 sections: Periodical, Reference, Textbooks and Multimedia. The library maintains an e-resources, covering a wide variety of topics of Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics and the Earth Sciences. The Library has subscribed to 13 research journal (print) and provides access to over 400+ full text journals in e-form. It is a member of INFONET Digital library consortium and Developing Library Network (DELNET). Electronic public access catalog (EPAC) facility is available for the users on intranet.
