Legal Services Clinic, Manipal Law School, Bengaluru was invited by District Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru to attend a program on "Saving Lakes" held in Government Degree College, Hoskote on 25^th May 2023. Dr. Rahul Mishra, Associate Professor& Head, Legal Services Clinic, Manipal Law School, Bengaluru along with Mr. Pawan.K Singh, Head, Marketing, Manipal Law School, Bengaluru represented MLS in the program. Sh. Sandeep S, Senior Civil Judge & Member Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sh. Arun , Senior Civil Judge, Hoskote Civil Court and Sh. Balakrishna Shetty , Governor Nominee for Executive Committee, Karnataka, Indian Red Cross Society and other members of local legal fraternity and Para legal volunteers graced the said occasion. Dr. Rahul was also invited to make a presentation about saving lakes in Bengaluru thereby rolling out road map to be followed by stakeholders concerned. Sh. Sandeep S, Member Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru applauded the efforts of people from Hoskote village for progress being made by them through lakes clean drive. Sh Sandeep S , Senior Civil Judge& Member Secretary ,DLSA sensitized the audience about preserving natural resources thereby sharing his vision for collective efforts to be put in by all stakeholders together to save lakes in and around Bengaluru.
