Admissions Path
Merit List
Merit list based on MET score or PGCUET score.
Admission Criteria
Provisional Admission is offered to shortlisted candidates based on merit and vacancy.
Program Eligibility
You must successfully complete BE/BTech in the relevant branch from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
If you have qualified GATE under the General Category, you will be given additional weightage.
You must appear for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET)/PGCUET 2026 and obtain the required cut-off score.
Curriculum and Fees
You study Numerical Methods and Computer Programming, Advanced Thermodynamics and Combustion, Design and Optimization of Thermal Systems, Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics, Advanced Solar Energy Technologies, Thermal Management of Electronic Systems, and Applied Computational Fluid Dynamics. Through the Programming and Simulation Lab, Thermal Instrumentation Laboratory, Applied CFD Lab, and Renewable Energy Laboratory, you build hands-on capability in MATLAB, OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, FLOWNEX, and TRNSYS, alongside calibration, measurement, and uncertainty analysis. Research Methodology and Technical Communication grounds you in research formulation, reporting, and professional ethics, and you take programme and open electives across the two semesters.
