Recipe: Thoroughly washed leaves are crushed and boiled in water with little cumin & pepper. Ensure complete boiling to get extracts. Then filter solid plant material. Add milk to watery extracts and taken. If not, instead of milk, a pinch of salt & lemon can be added while having Kashaya drink. This Kashaya relieves dry coughing.

Medicinal properties: Anti-microbial, Mucolytic, Traditional medicine for Tuberculosis.
