Virtual elective program  for students of the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry,Queen Mary University of London.

Manipal College of Dental Sciences,Manipal successfully organized a three day virtual elective program for the students of the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry,Queen Mary University of London. From the 17th to the 19th of August 2020, the students participated in interactive online sessions on Oral Diagnosis and treatment for some common and not so common oral conditions. Dr.Komal Smriti, Dr.Vatsala Patil and Dr.Mathangi Kumar from the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology and Dr.Sunil Nayak, Dr.Chitra A. and Dr.Adarsh Kudva from the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery were the resource persons. The program was also attended by Dr.Keerthilatha M.Pai, Dean and Professor of Oral Medicine and Radiology, MCODS, Manipal, Dr.Cassandra Lewis, Professor of Pediatric Dentistry and Lead for Dental Electives and Erasmus at the QMUL and also Dr.Amitha Ranauta, Director of Undergraduate programs at QMUL and also an adjunct faculty of the Department of Public Health Dentistry,MCODS,Manipal.The program was well appreciated by all the participants concerned. The program was organized and coordinated by Dr.Shashidhar Acharya,Professor of Public Health Dentistry,MCODS,Manipal.
