What are the medical facilities given to the resident students?
The KMC is right opposite the college, and the hostel warden takes care of students in need of medical attention.
Does your institute have any ragging?
We have very strict regulations and have kept a strong control over the ragging here. There have not been any serious cases of ragging. The Manipal University has an anti-ragging squad and so do we.
What are the career choices after a degree from WGHSA?
The students can join as chefs, front office managers, food and beverage managers, sales managers in various hotels. Openings are also available in airlines, retail, banking, travel and airports.
Do students also start their own business after studying from WGHSA?
Yes. Many students, who already have family businesses and operate hotels, join our courses to gain operational expertise.
What is the general age group of students?
At the time of joining they are around 18, and by the time they graduate, they are 21/ 22 years old.
Are there any foreign students. What is the number of foreign students in general?
The number of foreign students in the NRI Category is around 5 % out of the total of 360 students.

What kind of academic background (in class XII) is best suited for studying in WGHSA?
Any background is suitable for joining a course at WGSHA. But we have primarily had students from the Arts streams.
