In line with its objective of providing Continuous Education for employed professionals, Manipal University (MU) has been offering off campus part-time post graduation courses in the area of Management, Information Science/ Technology and Healthcare for working professionals since 2002. It all started with providing customised courses for the employees of GE in Hyderabad and then it extended to Intel, Honeywell and so on.

Manipal Centre for Information Sciences (MCIS), Manipal, inaugurated (All the MS programs are coordinated through MCIS)

MS VLSI CAD & Embedded systems course launched at Manipal

2005

• MS Digital Design & Embedded systems program launched exclusively for the employees of GE at Bangalore & Hyderabad
• Customised MS programs in Computer Science and Embedded Control System Design launched for the employees of Honeywell at Bangalore and Madurai

2006

• VLSI-CAD, Automotive Embedded System and Integrated Microelectronics program launched for the employees of Intel.
• MS in Automotive Embedded System launched for the employees of Delphi
• Integrated Microelectronics program started for the employees of Texas Instruments
• MS in Computer Science program started for the employees of IBM Technologies
• Customised Vascular Training Program started for GE Healthcare

2007

• Executive MBA Degree launched for the employees of IBM Daksh and Infosys BPO

• Calendar batches for Corporate programs launched in Bangalore followed by Chennai, Mumbai & Hyderabad
