The student council shall represent the student body in all requests brought by students to the faculty council.

The student council shall ensure the speedy acclimatization of new students to Manipal by organizing Fresher’s Welcome, assisting in the legal and institutional procedures and promoting healthy friendships between seniors and juniors.

The student council shall encourage student participation in the extra-curricular activities of the institution like Sports Day, Annual Day entertainment, Competitions, etc.
