The department had an association with the Thames Valley University of London, and providing visiting faculties to teach Ayurveda to their BA (Hons.) in Ayurveda, a full time three-year degree course, being conducted by the Thames Valley University, London, since last three years.

Department is actively discussing with Public health department of Okayama University, Okayama, Japan to conduct joint clinical research programmes in Ayurveda. Two clinical areas, i.e.

Post-stroke rehabilitation using Ayurvedic treatment has been identified now to begin with. This programme will be a conducted as a part of Okayama University’s International Clinical Research Programme, and International Health Care Program headed by Prof. Hiroyuki Doi, Prof. and Head, Department of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, Okayama University Graduate medical School, Okayama.
