Central Computing Facility caters to the computing needs of the faculty and students for their research and teaching. CCF supports and enhances the educational mission of the institute, for enriching the educational experience of the students, faculty and the staff and supporting their academic activities. It has a user base of more than 1500 users. Central Computing Facility has seven state of the art servers, windows labs and programming and application software. Central Computing Facility is connected to all the academic departments, library and other departments. It has a power back up through an 80 KVA UPS and generator set. Air conditioning is provided by the central air conditioning plant. Central Computing Facility is situated in three floors of Innovation Centre, Academic Block 4 , having a total computers of 243, 7 high end HP Proliant G3 Servers and one 16 TB storage capacity provided by EMC2 . The CCF has around 250 computer terminals equipped with latest technology. The computer terminals, keyboards, processors, and other hardware are upgraded on regular basis to keep up with the latest technology.

The services provided by CCF involve:

• Imparting practical training to the undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Supporting all the departments of MIT to conduct the Labs
• Conduction of online Exams for Campus Placement.
• Helping conduction of IT related workshops of all the departments
• Platform for providing hands on training of new concepts to the university staff
• Developing software with the students. Already developed software for placement, alumni, faculty feedback
• Distribution of consumables to the various departments
