PG Diploma in Dental Materials

A two year programme designed to provide Dental surgeons with the necessary tools and scientific principles of Dental Materials that are currently used in Clinical Dentistry. The course content will be taught through discussions, seminars, and assignments. The course is designed and taught as per the syllabus proposed by Dental Council of India. The programme orients the students with an introduction to materials science, structure-property relationship, biocompatibility, material properties, chemistry, testing, and processing and selection criteria of various materials focusing on polymers, metals, ceramics and composites.


Dental Mechanics:

A two year programme that provides technical skills required for the preparation of various dental appliances in the dental laboratory. The department is involved in the teaching of applied physics, chemistry, mechanics and dental materials subjects.
