Stretching across 3000 sq.ft., the WiFi enabled MIC Library has a seating capacity of 100 and is WiFi enabled. With over 10000 books, nearly 55 journals and periodicals, 500 CDs of movies, documentaries, data CDs and music and over 400 dissertations, the WiFi enabled library is well stocked to meet the information needs of students and faculty of MIC. The three thousand odd books donated by the Honorary Director Dr.M V Kamath is an invaluable addition. Library is an institutional member of AMIC (Asian Media Information and Communication Center, Singapore and has access to their website.

An audio visual room inside facilitates film screening and recording television programmes to assist academic work. OPAC allows users to search catalogues of libraries in every Institute of Manipal University. Library’s e-resources can be browsed through the intranet portal http://mymanipal. Photocopying and Internet browsing facility is available in the library for students and other users.
