Programs Available
MAHE organizes theme-based hackathons, providing funding for winning teams to develop prototypes, and conducts Entrepreneurship Awareness programs for students and faculty to stay updated on the startup ecosystem.
Preincubation
Facility
Teams can opt for 6-12 months of preincubation, receiving co-working space and guidance as they develop their startup. Currently, five teams are in preincubation, with additional support available through the Government-funded NIDHI-EIR scheme for graduates.
NIDHI-EIR Scheme

Incubation
Facility
Proposals from teams with strong prototypes, innovation, and traction will be considered for incubation, provided they submit an executive summary, detailed business plan, and pitch deck. Upon committee approval, teams will be granted 18 months of incubation, which includes dedicated space, mentoring, and other resources to help turn their venture into a successful business.
Startups must pay rent and offer equity to MUTBI as part of the ecosystem support. Regular progress reviews and compliance checks are required, with the possibility of extending incubation for another 18 months based on progress. Seed funding may also be provided after six months, depending on the venture's potential.

Our Startups
During the initial years, startups at MUTBI were either from students or from outsiders. But, later, even faculty members got into entrepreneurship and MUTBI supported 10 such faculty driven/mentored BIRAC funded startups.
Our
Governance
MUTBI, established in 2009, is guided by a board of industry and academic experts, with a team handling regular management, legal compliance, and financial auditing. It supports startups through agreements, mentorship, seed funding, and policies for smooth operations.
