The Regional Resource Centre for Health Technology Assessment in India (RRC-HTAIn), PSPH, MAHE, Manipal, in collaboration with MIDAS – DST-MAHE Hub, MAHE, successfully organised a Sensitization Workshop on HTA and Early HTA for Healthcare Innovators, Start-ups and Medical Device Developers on 21 September 2026 at MAHE, Manipal.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr Lazar Mathew (Senior Advisor, MIDAS), with valuable contributions from Dr Chythra R Rao (PI, RRC-HTAIn, Manipal), Dr G Arun Maiya (Principal Coordinator, MIDAS-DST Hub), and Prof Dr Ambigai Rajendran (MSCE). We sincerely thank Dr Kavitha Rajsekhar, Dr Jagadish, and Dr Oshima Sachin from the HTAIn Secretariat for their valuable time and insightful sessions on HTA India initiatives and the need for Early HTA. The RRC-HTAIn, Manipal team: Dr Christy Thomas (Scientist D), Anisha Mary John (Health Economist), Jilsy Mary Joy (Scientist C), and Veena G (Administrative Officer), also contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
