Dr. Swathi K. S. is an Associate Professor at the Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, with over 16 years of academic experience complemented by experience in the hospital industry.

Her areas of teaching and research include healthcare and hospital management, healthcare quality and patient safety, health systems management, digital health adoption, and consumer behaviour in healthcare. She is actively involved in postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and interdisciplinary research. As a recognized PhD guide at MAHE, she guides doctoral research in healthcare management and related areas.
