“World Radiography Day” was celebrated by the Department of Medical Imaging Technology, MCHP, Manipal, Medical Imaging Technology, KMC, Mangalore and Department of Allied Health Sciences, MTMC, Jamshedpur on 8th November 2021 from 9.00 am to 6.00pm through online platform MS Teams. This programme witnessed eminent guests like Dr. Raghuraj U, Professor and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis, K S Hegde Hospital, Deralakatte, Mangaluru, Dr. G Arun Maiya, Dean, MCHP, Manipal, Dr. Prakashini K, Professor and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis  and Imaging, KMC, Manipal, Dr. Santhosh Rai PV , Professor and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, KMC, Mangalore, Dr. B Rajashekar, former Dean, Manipal College of Health Professions, Manipal,  Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sinha, Head, AHS Program, MTMC, Jamshedpur and Mr. R K Sundar , General Manager Clinical Imaging, South Asia, GE Healthcare.

Dr. Prakashini K, Professor and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, KMC, Manipal gave a talk on the significance of the program. Dr. Raghuraj U, Professor and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis, K S Hegde Hospital, Deralakatte, Mangaluru was the chief guest of the day and addressed the gathering. The key note address was delivered by Dr. Santhosh Rai P V, Professor and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, KMC, Mangalore and Mr. R K Sundar , General Manager Clinical Imaging, South Asia, GE Healthcare. Competitions such as Cartoon drawing and e-poster presentation were conducted for students
