🌍 Glimpses from the Field Visit: Exploring Bengaluru's Military Heritage 🌍

Our fifth-semester students from the B.A. Double Majors and B.A. English Programs had an enriching experience visiting the Madras Sappers Museum and Archives today. This museum, a crucial part of Bengaluru's military heritage, offers a vast collection that showcases India's military history from the colonial era to the present day.

The visit provided a unique opportunity for our students to delve into the rich legacy of the 'Thampis' of the Madras Sappers and their participation in various military campaigns across the globe. The day-long excursion concluded with a visit to the National Military Memorial Park, another significant landmark commemorating the sacrifices of our armed forces.
Field visits like these are essential in broadening our students' perspectives and enhancing their understanding of history and heritage. We are proud of our students for their curiosity and enthusiasm in exploring these important sites.
