Details About the competition

The 3rd Dr. TMA Pai International Technology Law Moot Court Competition will be held from 17th to 19th April 2026 at the MAHE Bengaluru Campus.

Building upon the success of its previous editions, the 2026 competition focuses on the overlap of law and technology, an area that has witnessed significant regulatory transformation in recent years. With the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, and the recent 2026 amendment to the IT rules, the legal landscape governing digital arena has entered a new phase of centralised statutory oversight.

The competition invites participants to engage with complex questions surrounding platform accountability, intermediary liability, state regulation, prohibition, enforcement, and the balance between innovation and public interest. It seeks to foster rigorous legal research, persuasive advocacy, and meaningful academic discourse at the intersection of law and technology.

The competition will be conducted in offline mode at the MAHE Bengaluru Campus.
