Qualification

Completed 10+2 / A Level / IB / American 12th or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subject as optional. Students must also have a minimum average of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the optional subjects taken together.

General

Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal Entrance Test - MET 2020

Foreign/NRI

Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Note: Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI categories. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) is involved in constructive inter-disciplinary research projects in collaboration with several organizations such as Department of Science and Technology (New Delhi), Ministry of Environment and Forests (New Delhi), Department of Atomic Energy, AICTE (New Delhi), Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST) Karnataka, Department of Biotechnology (New Delhi), Defence Research and Development Organization, (New Delhi).
