Qualification

Pass in the following from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks (55% marks for M.Sc. in Audiology, M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology, 60% marks for MSc Medical Radiation Physics) in aggregate:

> B.ASLP / B.Sc (Speech & Hearing) / BSLH degree of any University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with an average of not less than 55% of marks; Applicants shall not be older than 30 years on the 1st July of the year of admission for those seeking admission to M.Sc. in Audiology - M.Sc. (Aud), M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology - M.Sc. (S.L.P.)

> BPT for those seeking admission to MPT course

> BOT/BSc OT/BOTh for those seeking admission to MOT course

> B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy/ B.Sc. Respiratory Care Technology/ B.Sc. Medical Technology (Respiratory Therapy) / > > B.Sc. Critical Care Technology of four years with minimum 50% marks. or 3 years of degree in B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy/ B.Sc. Respiratory Care Technology/ B.Sc. Medical Technology (Respiratory Therapy) / B.Sc. Critical Care Technology with minimum 50% marks and the candidate must have completed 1 year of internship or clinical experience for those seeking admission to MSc RT Course.

> BSc MLT/BMLT for those seeking admission to MSc MLT course

> BSc MIT of 3 years regular course from any university recognised by UGC+1 year compulsory Internship or clinical experience for those seeking admission to MSc MIT course

> BSc NMT degree approved by AERB with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to MScNMTcourse

> BSc OPT/BOptom for those seeking admission to MOptom course

> BSc Cardiac Care/Cardiovascular Technology for those seeking admission to MSc Echocardiography

> BSc Cardiac Care/Cardiovascular Technology OR 2 years of Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology (post regular general BSc) with minimum of 3 years experience for those seeking admission to MSc Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional Technology

> Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for those seeking admission to MSc HIM course

> BSc Graduates with Physics as major or BSc with Physics as one of the major subjects from any university recognised by UGC in English medium for those seeking admission to MSc MRPcourse

> BSc RRT & DT for those seeking admission to MSc RRT & DT course

> MBBS/BDS/Nursing/Allied Health courses with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for those seeking admission in Msc Healthcare IT Management

> BSc (with Physics/Mathematics as one of the subject)/BCA/Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for those seeking admission in M.Sc. Software Development and Management

> MBBS/BPT/BOT/BScOT/BSc Exercise & Sports Sciences and equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate for those seeking admission in MSc Exercise & Sports Sciences

> B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology or B.Sc. any science stream with Diploma in Perfusion Technology from a recognized university with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate for those seeking admission in MSc in Perfusion Technology.

General

Admissions for MPT and M.Sc. (Aud.), M. Sc. (S.L.P.) courses are done on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2020. Admissions for MSc MIT are done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by Department of Medical Imaging Technology. Admissions for MSc Echocardiography, MSc Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional Technology are done on the basis of marks obtained in the departmental entrance test. Admission for MSc NMT is based on the departmental test and personal interview. Personal interview will be taken the next day for candidates who have cleared entrance exam. Admission for M. Optom, MSc MLT, MSc RRT & DT, MSc MIT and MOT are based on the departmental entrance test and personal interview. Admission for M.Sc RT is based on the personal interview. Admission to MSc Exercise & Sports Sciences is based on the statement of purpose and personal interview, together with marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination. For all other courses, the admissions are on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and there is no entrance test.

Foreign/NRI

Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Note: Candidates can apply either under General or Foreign/NRI Category.Those submitting applications under both General and Foreign/NRI categories will be considered only under the General Category. Change of category at a later stage will not be entertained under any circumstances.
