Translational research

The focus areas for this research are diabetes, cervical cancer, radiation sensitivity, colorectal cancer. Copy number variations, polymorphisms, epigenetic changes, chromosomal abnormalities are some of the biomarkers targeted, with the help of the ground work done in these laboratories establishing the first comprehensive BAC library of the Indian male human genome. It is a DBT funded research.
