Established in 2019, Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC), Jamshedpur, is a constituent unit of MAHE and represents India’s first private-private partnership initiative in medical education, created through a collaboration between MAHE and Tata Steel. Located on a 20-acre campus in Baridih, MTMC combines MAHE’s legacy in medical education with Tata Steel’s healthcare expertise.

MTMC offers the MBBS program with an annual intake of 200 students, combining rigorous academics, modern simulation facilities, research, and extensive clinical training at the 900-bed Tata Main Hospital (TMH). Research is an emerging strength, with faculty contributing across clinical medicine, community health, pharmacology, biomedical sciences and medical education.
