The M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Decision Science) at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), MAHE, is a two-year full-time postgraduate program that builds advanced capability in intelligent computation and decision-driven systems.

You study Artificial Intelligence and Decision Science as connected domains, beginning with domainspecific coursework and capstone projects. The third and fourth semesters focus on yearlong internships in industry, R&D labs, or inhouse research at MIT, Manipal, supporting applied learning with current computational tools.

Qualification

You must successfully complete BE/BTech in the relevant branch from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

If you have qualified GATE under the General Category you will be given weightage.

You must either appear for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET)/ PGCUET 2026 and get the required cut off.

Continuation of Scholarship

The award of Fee Waiver for the subsequent years will be the same as given at the time of admission in the first year. Scholarship will be extended in the subsequent year only to those students who have cleared all subjects in the University Examinations of previous year before the due date for payment of annual program fee. Students who are promoted to next year with failures (F) / Incomplete (I) / Detention (DT) grades, will NOT be eligible for fee waiver for that academic year. Fee Waiver will be forfeited in the instances of irregularity in attendance, proven charges of indiscipline, bringing disrepute to the Department / Institution / University etc.

Withdrawal Policy

In case the candidate leaves the course before the course completion (for any reason), he / she MUST reimburse the total program fee (as per Prospectus 2025) for the years of scholarship utilized, back to MAHE Manipal.
