At MHRC, we do not just provide care, we walk alongside patients and their families during their most delicate journeys. Our approach is rooted in comfort, dignity, and unwavering emotional support, ensuring every moment is lived with compassion.

Inpatient

Hospice Care

We offer 24/7 inpatient care for patients requiring symptom control, psychosocial support, or comfort-focused end-of-life care. Each patient is provided with a private room, with access to medical, nursing, psychological, and spiritual support.

Respite

Care

We facilitate short-term admissions to provide relief for caregivers or to stabilize a patient’s condition in a safe and comfortable setting.

Bereavement and

Family Support

We incorporate structured bereavement services, counselling, and support groups for family members following the loss of a loved one.

Psycho-Social and

Spiritual Care

We provide holistic support addressing the emotional, existential, and cultural needs of patients and caregivers, guided by trained counsellors, psychologists, and spiritual care advisors.

Admissions

There are no direct admissions at MHRC.

Patients may be referred by doctors, hospitals, or families themselves.

All patients must first visit the Department of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care at Shirdi Sai Cancer Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal.

The team will assess and determine if the patient is eligible for admission.

If eligible, a referral card will be issued.

Admission to MHRC is only possible with this referral card.
