Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Involved in taking Lectures, Small Group Teaching and Practical sessions for MBBS students. Evaluation of theory examinations and conducting practical examinations for MBBS students. Guides postgraduates in their research activities and seminars. Helps postgraduate students in their thesis as guide.
Incharge of Mycobacteriology division of the laboratory including the diagnostics under the NTEP. Does research in the field of Mycobacteriology and Microbiological sciences. Updates the knowledge by attending scientific meetings and conferences. Has been involved as a coinvestigator in various government sponsored projects and holds 2 patents in the field of Tuberculosis.
Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate students. Guides undergraduate students in their short term research projects. Actively involved in the departmental and institutional activities.
