Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Teaches and guides both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Encourages active learning by short group discussions and clinical discussions. Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts clinical assessments.
Guides undergraduates and postgraduates in their research activities and presentations. Served as Board of Studies-Subject Convener for undergraduate course, and was also actively involved in developing Outcome based education (OBE) Curriculum for UG course subject. Provides quality dental care to patients and involved in clinical teaching.
Does research in the field of various fields of Oral Medicine and Radiology and updates the knowledge by attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national and state levels. Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities. Also serves as a Faculty mentor for Advanced Certificate Course in Laser dentistry conducted in association with Indian Association of Laser and Digital Dentistry
