Dr. Vikas Singh Panwar

Conducts lectures and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas of Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, and Design Engineering. Has taught the subject Design of Machine Elements (DME) to fourth-semester students with a focus on concept-based learning and practical problem-solving. Actively contributes to curriculum development through framing and revision of syllabi for three subjects related to Robotics in accordance with contemporary industrial and academic requirements. Serves as a mentor for a batch of 12 students, providing academic guidance and career support.

Guides undergraduate students in their academic and interdisciplinary projects, encouraging innovation, research aptitude, and practical implementation of engineering concepts. Actively involved in research paper writing and publication in reputed journals and conferences in the fields of Robotics, Automation, and Mechanical Engineering. Works as the In-house Project Coordinator for B.Tech Mechatronics students and facilitates effective execution, monitoring, and presentation of student projects. Also contributes towards enhancing collaborative learning through active coordination of the Peer-to-Peer Help Program.

Actively participates in departmental and institutional academic activities and contributes towards organizing technical events, workshops, and conferences. Presently serving as the Organizing Secretary for the upcoming 5th International Conference on Robotics, Communication, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (RCAAI 2026). Regularly updates academic and technical knowledge by attending conferences, faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars at national and international levels, thereby strengthening teaching, research, and professional engagement.
