Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
As Professor and Head of the Department, I am actively involved in UG and PG teaching, including lectures, practical sessions, and decahead discussions. I moderate seminars, journal clubs and conduct slide seminars, promoting analytical and evidence-based learning. I also mentor postgraduate students in their thesis work and research activities.
My areas of research interest include lymphoma, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, and bone and soft tissue pathology. I regularly update my knowledge and skills by attending CMEs, workshops, and conferences at international, national, and state levels. I serve as a teacher guardian for undergraduate students and actively support them in their academic pursuits.
I guide undergraduate students in short-term research projects and case presentations, fostering research aptitude and clinical reasoning skills.
