Nanoscience and Technology : Training students to prepare nanoparticles using chemical methods of synthesis, Characterization of nanomaterials using state of the art facilities. Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations. Guides postgraduates in their research projects and seminars. Responsible for the Student Life Cycle Management of MIAP. Conducts Chemical safelty course for Doctoral students.

Does research in the field of various fields of Nanoscience and Technology, Materials Chemistry, Photocatalysis, Solar photocatalysts, water splitting for Hygrogen Generation, Anticounterfeiting applications, Thin films etc. Knowledge update by attending workshops and conferences at national and international levels. Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate students and gives my best to help them outside the classrooms. Guide the undergraduate students in their short term research projects. Actively involved as a Doctoral Advisory Committee member of Ph.D. students across MAHE and other instiutions. Keenly involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities.
