Dr. Sundeep P T

Dr Sundeep P T is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. The primary academic responsibility is in training MCh (Paediatric Surgery) trainees, honing their clinical and surgical work in the hospital and guiding MCh trainees in their academic and research activities.

He trains MS(General surgery) postgraduate trainees during their one month posting in the department of Paediatric surgery, supervising and assisting in their clinical work and guiding them in their thesis and research activities. He also conducts theory and clinical classes for undergraduate students.

His clinical interests include general paediatric surgery, paediatric minimal access surgery, neonatal surgery and paediatric gastrointestinal surgery, and his expertise spans paediatric surgery, paediatric urology, paediatric GI surgery, paediatric thoracic surgery, minimal access surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and neonatal surgery. His primary research focuses on gastrointestinal congenital anomalies and surgical site infections.
