Dr. Suchand Sandeep C S

Leading a research group focusing on optoelectronic materials, laser material processing, biomedical optics and quantum dots. Has more than 20 years of research expertise in Lasers and Photonics with over 11 years of international expertise. Is an internationally recognized researcher with active research collaborations with leading research groups nationally and internationally. Currently is part of five ongoing funded research projects as PI/Co-PI.

Has over 7 years of teaching experience in Masters and PhD level. Currently is teaching a 4 credit PhD course at MIT Manipal and guiding graduate and undergraduate students in research projects and supervising 4 PhD scholars.

Is currently a coordinator of Physics PG Projects and Internationalization. Is a Senior member of IEEE, Life fellow member of Optical Society of India and Life member of Plasma Science Society of India.
