Dr Subraya Krishna Bhat

Dr. Subraya Krishna Bhat is an Assistant Professor - Senior Scale in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology. He is actively involved in teaching a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as continuum mechanics, finite element methods, modeling and simulation, and mechanics of materials, along with associated laboratory and practice-oriented components.

His responsibilities include mentoring and supervising postgraduate research, particularly in advanced domains such as computational mechanics, biomechanics, and machine learning–assisted material modeling. He also contributes to curriculum delivery, student development, and interdisciplinary academic engagement within the institute.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Bhat maintains an active research profile with contributions to high-impact journals, funded projects, and innovation through patents, supporting the institute’s research ecosystem and academic excellence.
