Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
I teach graduate and undergraduate subjects within the Communication Management department. I facilitate activity-based group learning and discussions that encourage inquiry, active engagement, and critical thinking among students. As the faculty overseeing internships, I liaise with the media industry to identify internship opportunities for students. I guide students in identifying internship opportunities, preparing resumes and portfolios, scouting and applying for internships, and evaluating internships.
I coordinate and manage the international collaboration activities at MIC, including Incoming Mobility and Outgoing Mobility. I am the faculty coordinator of the college's Student Council, ensuring seamless collaboration and cooperation between the students and the university. I regularly contribute to updating the course materials and revising the syllabus to align the courses with industry standards. I guide postgraduate students with their media research theses and undergraduate students with their short-term media projects.
I am a teacher-guardian to undergraduate students and give my best to help them outside the classroom. My research focuses on children and families as media audiences, examining their interactions and lived experiences with digital technologies. I examine the domestication of digital media by families and the reconstitution/recalibration of family lives, while also focusing on digital media and AI Literacy for children and parents, as well as Digital Parenting support for families. I have presented my research at several national and international conferences.
