Dr Sonal Sekhar M

Sonal Sekhar M is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting research, and mentoring PhD scholars. His academic responsibilities include delivering practical sessions, bedside teaching, and facilitating problem-based learning. He serves as Staff Coordinator for the second-year Pharm.D program and Subject-in-charge for Clinical Toxicology (PPR 4.6 T) for IV Pharm.D, as well as Pharmacotherapeutics-I (PPR 2.6 T) and Pharmacotherapeutics-I Laboratory (PPR 2.6 L).

As a research supervisor, he is currently guiding seven PhD scholars under MAHE and serves as dissertation and project guide for M.Pharm and Pharm.D students. He is the Department Research Coordinator and a member of the MCOPS Research Committee. He also serves as Coordinator of the MCOPS PG Research Verticals.

His other responsibilities include serving as Coordinator for the Centre for Public Health Pharmacy and Staff Coordinator for the Pharmacy Literacy Club. He is also Staff Editor of DigiDose, a quarterly newsletter. Overall, he contributes extensively to academic teaching, research mentorship, and institutional development.
