Ms. Simi Mary Devasia

I encourage experiential learning and classroom discussion, and I have also been in the delivery process of Faculty Development Programme on Design Thinking. I have taught modules on Business Research for culinary students, which contributed to filing patents for three business projects. I conducted psychometric assessments and soft skills training for students in the Career Commando training program. I also delivered Front Office Operations training to ITC Infotech employees.

For postgraduate students, I taught Managerial Communication and supervised a master’s project; for undergraduates, I taught a module in French and guided short-term research projects and case presentations. My research focuses on hotel human resource management, training, and development, and I regularly attend related workshops. I serve as a teacher-guardian to undergraduate students and actively support their academic and extracurricular development, while participating in departmental and institutional academic activities. Currently I am into Standardizing of Operations in Housekeeping Department in WGSHA
