Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Dr Shrikrishna Bhat K is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Statistics and Data Science at the Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), MAHE, Manipal.His research is in cluster analysis and cluster diagnostics, with contributions to probabilistic distance clustering, block clustering and silhouette-based validation measures. This work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and has been released as open-source R packages, including the Silhouette package on CRAN.
Alongside methodological research, he has extensive applied experience in large household surveys, including design-consistent weighting, non-response adjustment and composite-index construction for government and research partners such as MeitY (Government of India), the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Survey Research Center, University of Michigan.
