Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Research & Teaching Expertise: At Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS), Dr. Shashank Dadsena focuses on lipid metabolism and inter-organelle crosstalk in various stress conditions. He is also responsible for teaching Biochemistry and Omics technology at the undergraduate and master’s levels. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Dadsena also mentor students in hands-on laboratory sessions for master projects, ensuring that graduates gain proficiency in cell culture, mass-spectrometry based lipidomic analysis and interpretation of data. Research & Collaborative Leadership
In addition to academic instruction, Dr. Dadsena is actively engaged in interdisciplinary research, collaborating with bioinformatics and clinicians within the university as well as with reputed institutes across the globe. In addition, other responsibilities include securing extramural funding and supervising doctoral research in dysregulated cell death areas such as neurodegenerative disease. Administrative Roles & Student Development
