Planning and implementation of the teaching pogram; Prepare Master plan, class plan for whole year and coordinate all the academic activities for the whole year. Teach the students both in classroom and clinical settings; Encourages the students for group learning and discussion. Assess the students knowledge by conducting the exams both in classroom and clinicals; Instructing and supervising the students during clinical posting. Conduct planned incidental teaching for students; Ensuring that completion of assignments and practical book on time.

Encouage the students to learn from clinical areas and demonstrate the procedures by the students; Preparation of question papers and invigilates theory examinations. Other duties like paper valuation, practical assessment, internal assessment etc; Updates my knowledge by attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national and state levels. Participating in faculty development program and conduct continuing education programs and seminar. Serving as internal examiner for theory and practical examination of Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (KSDNEB) Bangalore .

External Examiner for KSDNEB practical exams. Is a mentor to diploma students and gives my best to help them outside the classroom. .Encourages group learning and discussion. . Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities.
