Actively involved in teaching postgraduate students, with a strong commitment to academic mentorship and capacity building. Guides postgraduate dissertations and serves as a PhD guide, fostering research aptitude and scientific thinking. Regularly conducts seminars, group discussions, clinical case discussions, and daily laboratory reviews to enhance analytical and practical skills. Serves as the Coordinator of the Centre of Excellence in Immunohematology, playing a key role in organizing and delivering regular hands-on workshops and webinars.

Actively guides students in undertaking short-term and small-scale research projects, encouraging early exposure to research methodology and scientific writing. Mentors students in preparing and presenting at conferences, and motivates them to participate in academic competitions and quizzes. Serves as the Chairperson of the Postgraduate Academic Cell at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Participates in Board of Studies meetings for both broad specialty and super-specialty departments.

Plays an active role in reviewing the academic progress and thesis updates of postgraduate students across departments. Additionally, contributes to student affairs for third professional year undergraduate students, supporting their academic and professional development. Contributes significantly to the conduct of academic assessments, including both internal evaluations and final exit examinations. Actively participates in setting question papers, invigilation, and practical examinations.
