An experienced ophthalmologist with fellowship training and more than 18 years of experience in surgical and medical retina Extensive experience in teaching undergraduate medical students through lectures, clinical demonstrations, bedside/OPD teaching, and practical training. Actively involved in postgraduate training of MS Ophthalmology residents, including clinical supervision, surgical/diagnostic training, case discussions, journal clubs, seminars, and thesis guidance. Course coordinator for fellowship training in Medical Retina, with exposure to retinal imaging, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, age-related macular degeneration,Retinopathy of prematurity, uveitis-related retinal disorders, and intravitreal therapies. Examiner and Academic Roles Served as an examiner for undergraduate ophthalmology examinations.
Served as an examiner for postgraduate ophthalmology examinations. Involved in curriculum-based assessment, practical examinations, viva voce, and clinical case evaluation. Research and PhD Guidance Recognized as a Co-Guide for Ph.D. scholars in ophthalmology/medical sciences.
Involved in research supervision, thesis/dissertation guidance, protocol development, and academic publications. Areas of Interest Surgical retina,Retinopthy of prematurity Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Vascular Disorders, Retinal Imaging, Endophthalmitis and Postgraduate Medical Education, and Clinical Research.
