Current Academic Role & Responsibilities
Engages undergraduate students of BA Journalism and Mass Communication through learner-centric pedagogical approaches that foster critical thinking, analytical inquiry, and an understanding of contemporary media landscapes. Contributes to curriculum delivery, assessment, and academic mentoring, incorporating industry perspectives and emerging trends in media and communication studies.
Supervises postgraduate dissertations and research projects, providing guidance in research design, methodology, academic writing, and scholarly dissemination. Conducts training programmes, workshops, and professional development initiatives aimed at strengthening research capabilities and enhancing academic and industry preparedness.
Pursues research in the areas of sustainability and media, media economics, and media psychology. Actively participates in national and international conferences as a presenter, session chair, and resource person, while contributing to departmental and institutional academic initiatives that promote research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge creation.
