Encourages group learning, self directed learning and discussion. Takes theory classes and clinics, Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations for Undergraduates and postgraduates . Guides postgraduates in their research activities, journal clubs and seminars.

Helps postgraduate students in their thesis and other research presentations as guide. Also mentors PG's when required. Is also co-guide for dissertations carried out by MPhil Psychiatric Social Work students.

Is also a guide for candidates pursuing both full time and part time PhD. Does research in the field of mental health and updates my knowledge by attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national and state levels. Actively involved in departmental and institutional academic activities.
