Leadership & Administration: Overseeing the functioning of the school: Shaping academic policies, guiding departments, coordinating among faculties, and ensuring the school meets its mission of research, Innovation, education, and community service. Research & Guidance: Leading and guiding research efforts at MSLS, especially in the domain of Health Sciences - radiation biology, toxicology, molecular radiobiology, nanotechnology & targeted drug delivery. Promoting multidisciplinary & interdisciplinary research, enhancing collaboration /network and innovation. Teaching & Mentorship:

As professor at the Department in Radiation Biology & Toxicology: involvement in teaching (graduate/post-graduate level), supervising UG/PG student projects/dissertations, mentoring PhD students, especially in research projects. Faculty & Departmental Coordination: As Director, coordinates among various departments, ensures cross-departmental collaboration, resource allocation, and strategic planning. Institutional Development & Outreach: Establish and facilitate MSLS’s core academic & research (Smart classrooms, conferences/ workshops/ training, research facilities such as Mass spectrometry, New Generation Sequencing, Flow cytometry, High end microscopy (confocal & Laser scanning microdissection) bioinformatics facility, Tissue culture, Radioisotope laboratory etc) for academic, research, diagnostics, and training. As Director, oversees these resources and their optimal utilization for both internal & external users.

Research Publication & Project Leadership: Principal Investigator / Co-investigator for many research projects funded by DBT, DST-SERB, ICMR, BRNS, LSRB etc; has published over 150 research peer reviewed research articles and co-authored books. Enabled international collaborations, research funding, and institutional visibility.
